“Non-verbal” Red-head to Present at Podcasting Expo
News Flash: I will be ’speaking’ at the “Overcoming Physical Challenges: How to Help Your Child and Yourself” at the Online Women’s Podcasting Expo this Sunday Sunday, July 16th at 5:15pm Eastern Standard Time. I will be sharing how my lack of clear speech, due to my cerebral palsy, led to isolation and loneliness as I was growing up and how, with new technology, I am becoming verbal, and subsequently, visible. I feel like a butterfly emerging from my cocoon of silence.
