Wow, I won! Last week I was blogging around and came across The Power of Positive Thinking Book Giveaway. To enter simply required posting a comment. Then a winner would be randomly drawn from the comments. Ok, easy. And I won!

Apparently the prize is hard cover edition of Norman Vincent Peale’s classic The Power of Positive Thinking AND The Amazing Results of Positive Thinking - in one book!

I watch the Hour of Power almost every Sunday - that is my church. The minister Dr Schuller was greatly influenced by Norman Vincent Peale and often refers to his work in the sermons. It’ll be great to read Peale’s original words. Something I’ve wanted to do for a while.

I’m sure this will be very motivating as finishing writing, and then self-publish, my autobiography I’ll Do It Myself: A Collection of Memories from a Woman Living with Cerebral Palsy. The funny thing is I was motivated to commit to writing my story at this point in my life by listening to Dr Schuller, whose teachings are based on Peale’s. Interesting!

Thanks, Jeffrey! I’m sure I will need to continue to think positively as I continue working towards making this dream a reality. Amazing things have already been happening, which I’ll blog about next. Stay tuned.
